ADAM AND BUZZ (and the red cross)

The e-mailer writes: Hey, when I saw Adam play with the Melvins last night, both Buzz and Adam were wearing some sort of cloak with a red cross of some sort... I’m sure you have some idea what it’s about, would you mind explaining?
A:
It was just a coincidence. Both Adam and Buzz like to shop in the ‘garment district’ in downtown L.A., and both bought the same "cloak", although on separate occasions and without each other knowing that the other had the same "cloak." When it came time to play the show, they were both surprised to see that each was wearing the same "cloak" with the same device. Really, that’s all there was to it. It has nothing to do with anything else, such as any future project or the likes involving the two. Actually, it probably happens a lot - two people wearing the same shirt, or "cloak" with a red cross on it. So, just forget about it. Honestly, in this particular instance, there is no significance or cryptic meaning whatsoever behind the way the two were dressed on stage that night.

Another emailer writes: Thought you might be interested in this given your fascination with Kylie’s ASSets! Subject: Kylie Minogue Poster/Banner (1.2m x 1.8m) Lingerie Bus Shelter Poster. "I have for sale one of the large Kylie Lingerie Posters that were put up in bus shelters here in Australia. These are very rare - only about 150 of these were ever made... I’m looking for offers over $400.00... "

First of all, what a crazy way to describe a bus stop. Bus shelters? Shelter from what? Don’t tell me it f***ing rains poisonous spiders down there. Not in ‘urban’ areas, it doesn’t... does it? But as to Kylie’s ASSets, I ASSure you I’ve no interest in buying any lingerie poster for $400.00. I mean, c’mon - $400.00 for a picture of ASS cheeks... (is that in Aussie or US, mate?) The lingerie itself would be priceless (provided it was worn for at least 3 minutes under hot photography lights), but what can you do with a poster (is it laminated, mate?)... And to be quite honest, I’m a little down on women right now. I was recently reading my Bible (King James VERSION) and in this particular VERSION God didn’t seem to thrilled with that creation: ... Unto the woman He (god) said, "I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." -Genesis 3:16 If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days... but if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks... -Leviticus 12:2-5 Let your woman keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. -I Corinthians 14:34 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. As sure as God DIDN’T create little green apples (which I know thanks to that little hor...ticulturist friend of mine), I‘ve heard rumors of man-made ASS implants. Those (redeemed) are they which were not defiled with women...- Revelation 14:4 Hey Justin, something to keep in mind next time you ask Kylie to dance with you. Shit! that quote was from Revelation. Doesn’t look good for Maynard, does it?

Thus with the prologue there are fifty-three poems in all. Needless to say they breathe a spirit of deep piety and filial love towards our Heavenly Mother. Many beautiful and touching thoughts are embodied in the various verses, which cannot but do good to the pious soul." The above review was written about a book called "Hail Mary" (originally entitled "Amphora") whose author was... Aleister Crowley. DON'T PANIC

Once again rumours that TOOL has broken up are flying around the cyberworld like TV choppers over an accident on an LA freeway. Before you start ripping your hair out in chunks and cover yourself in ashes, the band would like to inform you all that these rumours are false. TOOL is still together. Adam just returned from a ten day tour of California, playing second guitar for The Melvins. Danny recently spent some time up north recording with King Crimson's Adrian Belew and Les Claypool of Primus. Maynard is busy cultivating *** ***** ***** and Justin has spent several weeks meditating high on a mountain in southern California, preparing himself for a momentous spiritual journey he will embark on very soon (more about that later...) At least two projects are now in the works, set for release sometime this year. But please note that the recent Aenima/Opiate release through Tower Records is NOT a new release (it is the two albums being sold together).
