Sourb Nshan (Holy Sign) Church

Sedvi

Sourb Nshan church is estimated to be built in the 13th century. It is located within three kilometers to the south of Katchatchkut village. The outer part of the church is modestly decorated. The church is located in the limits of a monastery. The monastery is 0.5 kilometers away from the castle of Sedvi.

Sedvi

The castle was built in the place called "Ghuli Ghash". The construction of the castle tells us that it was built with the aim of its protection. The tower of the Sedvi castle made it possible to watch over the place and maximize its preservation.

Sedvi

Today, one can only see the ruins and the forts of Sedvi castle which were once standing here firmly. In the canyon of Sedvi, there are many old villages, medieval cemeteries and khachkars (cross-stones). Everything above mentioned is situated in the conspicious corners of the Sedvi canyon.
