AVIedit is a cool video capture and editing utility. It is surprisingly small but one of most powered and fastest video animation packages.
It can display a video on the computer screen, capture single frames and live video, cut/copy/paste some frames of AVI clips, filter single images and AVI files, de-noise video, import series of BMP files into one AVI, and export an AVI file into separate frames or new clip.
Also AVIedit can do gamma-correction of video and color conversion. If you wish, it can create some text titles as AVI file, import animated GIF's as .AVI and more.
If you're familiar with Adobe Premiere or Ulead VideoStudio, then you could very easily imagine how to use AVIedit. It is a little brother...8-)
AVIedit offers one-shot advantage of video capture. It can auto-number incoming video clips and is very simple and quick in use.
