A New Initiative at the Yerevan EAC The Yerevan Educational Advising Center (EAC) in Armenia has started to work under administration of American Councils for International Education ACTR/ACCELS since January 2005. Gayane Grigoryan, the Senior Educational Adviser, was invited to cooperate with the American Councils and run the center in a new building which was located not far from the higher educational institutions in Yerevan. Gayane decided to visit universities and propose opening EAC corners at universities. After the first success at the European Regional Academy in Armenia Gayane opened Educational Advising Center 's corners in several higher educational institutions in Yerevan . The second success was the Yerevan State Institute of Economy. The corner was opened at the Students Councils office where Gayane started delivering individual consultation on particular days of the week. Gayane (on the right) is delivering a consultation The ACIE/EAC corners were opened in two more universities: Yerevan State University and the Yerevan State Linguistic University after V.Bryusov. Gayane also had an agreement with schools to deliver individual consultations on particular days and hours at those universities.
