BIOGRAPHY Vladimir Yaskorski was born 1984 May 20, in Yerevan. Since 1991, studied violin in Al. Spendiarov Music School with Margaret Darbinyan. From 1993 till now, he is a member of German Center of Study and Culture in Armenia (DLKZ- Deutsches Lehr-Kultur Zentrum), and participates repeatedly at the concerts of German folk and classical music organized by this Center, also making arrangements and treatments of German folk songs. In 2000, he entered the String Instruments Department of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and now studies there with Suren Hakhnasarian, the second violinist of the world-renowned Komitas Quartet. From 2001, he studies simultaneously composition with People's Artist of USSR, Edvard Mirzoyan and Vache Sharafyan, and conducting with Aram Gharabekian. Mr. Yaskorski had a conducting practice, working as assistant conductor of "Narekatsi" Chamber Orchestra. From 2000, he is working at Avet Terteryan Cultural Foundation music (especially German and contemporary). During last years, he collaborates actively with young composers, performing their compositions both solo and in different ensembles. |
